Our
Story
Construction Support Services has been creating custom estimating databases for the Commercial, Industrial and Residential markets since 1990.
Sage-Timberline is the most widely used Estimating software on the market, but we all know that what really empowers any estimating system is a good database. For eighteen years I worked as a certified Sage-Timberline Estimating Consultant and Trainer with one of the largest Sage-Timberline business partners in the country. During that time, I developed many Estimating Databases for use with Sage-Timberline. We are now offering our databases direct to the market including limited consulting and training.
So what makes CSS databases your best choice?
Real-world experience. I have over forty years’ experience as a construction estimator both as an employee and on a contract basis providing estimating services for general contractors, trade contractors, architects and insurance companies. Add to this the experience and knowledge gained by implementing well over five hundred Sage-Timberline Estimating clients and that translates into databases that are real and usable from day one.

Estimating Services
From time to time, you may need extra help with the estimating and pre-construction side of the business. To that end, we offer the following services:

Quantity Survey
We utilize digital take-off software to produce accurate quantities for all items in all divisions 2-48. Quantity lists will be provided in excel format broken down by CSI division. Color coded graphics can also be provided if desired.

Preliminary/Conceptual Budgets
eTakeoff and Sage Estimating will be used to produce a budget estimate for all items in division 2-48. Pricing will be factored for your geographic location and sent to you in either a Sage estimate file or in Excel format for final updating from your historical pricing.

Earthwork-Cut & Fill
We utilize a digital cut & fill software to produce clearing, stripping, cut/fill and haul off quantities. Standard reports from the software as well as color coded graphics will be furnished.
